View contract obligation details

All users with a contract role can see the details of a contract obligation.
Only users with Contractor Representative and Contractor Administrator contract roles can see confidential information such as financial values.
To view contract obligation details:

Click Contracts on the Main Menu.
The Contracts Manager Page is displayed.

In the Open Contracts section, click the link for the contract you want to view.
The Contract page is displayed.

Click the Obligations tab.
A list of obligations is displayed.

Click the obligation to open its details pane on the right-hand side of the page.
If the obligation has a due date, a counter indicating when it is due is displayed in the pane, showing for example:

the number of days, months or years remaining until it is due

the number of days, months of years by which it is overdue
If the obligation state is Completed, this is displayed (in place of the counter).
From the menu, you can select:

Manage Obligations - View the obligation properties and change its state.

Associated Communications - View and manage the communications associated with the obligation - see Associate communications with a contract obligation.

To view contract obligation details as a member of the responsible party:

Click the link in any email you received about the notification, e.g. when the due date or reminder date was reached.

In your browser, log in to AVEVA Contract Risk Management if necessary.
The Obligations page is displayed with the obligation shown in the right-hand pane.
Field
Description
Title
The title of the obligation.
State
The status of the contract obligation:

Not Started
-
In Progress
-
Completed
Click
to change the state - see Update the state of a contract obligation.
Owner
The owner of the contract obligation.
Responsible Party
The contract role or company business process role assigned as the responsible party. The responsible party will receive any due date and reminder notifications.
Completed On
The date that the contract obligation was set to Completed (automatically or manually).
Obligation Text
The text of the contract obligation.
Due Date
The due date for the contract obligation, on which a notification will be generated for the responsible party.
Reminder Date
The reminder date for the obligation, on which a notification will be generated for the responsible party.
Clause
The contract clause that contains the obligation (if relevant).
Initiated By
The reference of the communication from which the obligation was automatically generated, if any.
