Part Names

The part names are normally created by the system generating the parts from the assembly names, position numbers and other constituents that are needed to identify the parts in the workshop. These part names are the basis for the common part handling within AVEVA Plate and Bar Nesting and equal names of parts means that these parts are equal and can replace each other. Common parts are sorted together in the parts menu. To get the element names of the parts, a right-click function is available which lists the element names (the MPLATE and MPROF names).
