Hole

Creates a new hole.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to specify position, designation and angle.

The designation is used to specify the hole geometry. Predefined hole standards are used. Refer to Standard Holes for more information.

Mark

Creates a new marking.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to specify the start point of the marking.

After the start point is specified minimum one next point needs to be entered.

The second and following points could be specified via:

  • Position (X & Y Coordinate)

  • Tangent Length

  • Polar Input (Angle & Length)

Changing the side of the marking is possible via Property Grid after it is created.

Label

Creates a new label.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to specify position, text, angle and height.

Changing the side of the label is possible via Property Grid after it is created.

Notch

Creates a new notch.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to specify position, designation and angle.

As an alternative to the specify a position it’s possible to select a point on the contour and specify the X or Y offset from this selected point.

The designation is used to specify the notch geometry. Predefined notch standards are used. Refer to Standard Notches for more information.

Excess

Creates a new excess.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to excess value, start location and end location.

As an option an offset to the start and end location could be specified.

Bevel

Creates a new bevel.

When entering the function, a prompt is given to bevel code, start location and end location.

As an option an offset to the start and end location could be specified.

If APBN is used for data which is created in Aveva Marine, Read/Write access for Design databases is required in the module definitions. Otherwise, access to the defined bevel standards is not possible.
