Set-Up

A set-up of the software is needed to get correct manufacturing information but also to get additional functionality for preferred work flows. All set-up files are looked for in the directory pointed out by the environment variable AVEVA_NESTING_SETTINGS. Normally this variable is set in the project evars file.

If symbols are to be used the environment variable AVEVA_SYMBOLS needs to be set to a directory containing symbol XML files. Symbols can be exported from AVEVA Marine if equivalent ones are needed.
