Creates a bridge between two parts.

When entering this function, a prompt to give the position for the bridge is presented. Type of bridge is by default defined by one position, created double centered and width is picked up from the machine settings.

Using arrow down, other types of brides can be selected and created.

The different bridge types can be selected by cursor, using the arrow keys and select with Enter or use the presented short-cut letter for selection.

A bridge can be defined by one or two positions defining a 'control line'. Number of positions is by default one but can be changed to two using the function Define by two. If two positions are selected, the next time options are displayed the available function to select is Define by one.

centered and asymmetric refer to how the bridge will be positioned relative to the defined ‘control line’. A centered bridge is positioned so that the ‘control line’ is in the center of the bridge, while an asymmetric bridge is positioned so that the ‘control line’ coincides with a bridge line or, for cross bridges, one end of the cross.

When creating an asymmetric bridge then a prompt for an additional position will be made to determine the side where to place the second bridge line or the gap (in case a single centered or single asymmetric bridge).

The Cut Bridge is used when creating a bridge in a cutout, allowing the cutout to be cut as a hole instead of being cut as part of the part outer contour.

Using the Finish function or pressing Esc will cancel the function.
