New in Historian 2023 R2 SP1

AVEVA Data Hub is now rebranded to CONNECT Data Services.

Improved logging for secure communication to Historian is now enabled.

Support for Kerberos Authentication while replicating to PI Server has been added.

If a tag's raw type is Integer but its minimum or maximum value is configured as a float value, the raw type will now be changed to Float when it is replicated to CONNECT data services.

The following enhancements give the Historian Client Web a more modern look:

• Kiosk mode is now supported. This allows you to set up a device to display pertinent information for an extended period of time that you can define.

• Gantt charts can now be expanded or collapsed. You can also now disable or enable tags via the legend.

• Line and scatter charts now display arrows in the margins to indicate when data extends outside the current scaling range.

• Event and alarm overlays are now supported for line charts.
