If a line chart is configured with tags associated with events or alarms occurring within the selected timeframe, those items will be displayed on the chart. You can view detailed information on an event or alarm by selecting the icon on the chart.

When a tag is in an alarm state, the state is displayed as a highlighted line that begins where the alarm starts and ends where the alarm is cleared. If the start or clear events occur outside the selected timeframe for the alarm, the line will still display. However, no highlighting will appear if both the start and clear events occur outside of the selected timeframe.
The color of the highlighting corresponds to the severity of the event:
-
Severity 1 - Red
-
Severity 2 - Yellow
-
Severity 3 - Blue
-
Severity 4 - Pink
Below are descriptions of the icons that can appear on the line chart:

Simplified events are also used when viewing the content from the home page or from a dashboard. Detailed information on events and alarms are only available when viewing the chart in the content editor view. If more than 100 events per tag occur within the displayed timeframe, no icons will be displayed. Zoom in to see more details. |
