Import Gateway Configuration

You can import Gateway configurations from the previous version of the host product.

To import a configuration:

1. Click Gateway Setup,the following options are displayed:

   • There are no existing configurations for current product version.

   • There are already existing configurations for other product versions.

     

2. Click Yes to navigate to Import from other product version view.

3. Import menu displays two options:

   • Import from file

   • Import from other product versions

     

4. Do one of the following:

   • If you want to import an existing zip file:

     • Choose Import from file option and select the zip file. For information on how to export the zip file, see Export Configuration.

       Note: Zip file is project specific and only the zip file with same project in Unified Engineering gateway configuration can be imported.

   • If you want to import configuration from other product versions:

     • Choose Import from other product versions option. The following pop-up window is displayed.

       

5. From the Select module name drop-down list select the module name. List of the selected configuration names are displayed.

   Note: Naming rules are applicable to configuration names, that is:

   • Configuration name cannot already exist in current version.

   • Configuration name cannot be the same as other configuration on the list.

   • Configuration name cannot contain invalid characters.

     If you come across any of the above listed scenarios, the tooltip of the configuration should be updated, and the selected checkbox should be unchecked.

6. Click Import. You are navigated to the Configuration Manager view and it displays the imported configurations on the list.
