Accessing the Gateway

To access the gateway, you must first install it. For information about how to install the gateway and its licensing requirements, refer to AVEVA Gateway for Unified Engineering Installation Guide.

After installing the gateway, log in as an administrator, and start AVEVA™ Engineering with the Engineer module. The Gateway Setup icon is now available in the AVEVA AIM group of the Admin tab. You can use this icon to create configurations based on which the data can be published to AVEVA™ Asset Information Management.

Click Gateway Setup. The Gateway Setup window appears and is docked to the right-hand side of the AVEVA™ Engineering window.The following image shows the Gateway Setup window.
