Modify a Configuration

After creating and saving a configuration, you can modify the configuration if the need arises.
To modify the configuration:

Load the configuration you want to modify. For information on how to load a configuration, see Load a Configuration.

After the configuration is loaded, perform one or more of the following procedures depending on what needs to be modified.
Note: To delete a configuration, select the configuration in the Load Configuration list and then click the Delete icon.

After you make the required changes based on your need, click Save to save the configuration. The configuration is now modified.
Modify Element Selection
To modify the selection of elements:

In the Select Elements area of the Element Selection and Filters page, select the check boxes for the element types you want to export and clear the check boxes for the element types that you do not want to export. For more information about selecting elements, see Select Elements.
Modify Filters
For information about how to apply new filters, see Apply Filters.
To modify existing filters:

In the Select Elements area, highlight the element type for which the filter needs to be modified. The list of filters applicable to the element type are displayed.

Select the row of the filter which needs to be modified, and then click the Edit Filter icon. The filter is loaded into the Attribute Filter, Status Filter or PML Expression Filter area as the case may be.

Modify the filter based on your need and then click Update Filter. The updated filter is displayed in the list of filters.
Note: To delete a filter, highlight the corresponding row and then click the Delete Filter icon.
Modify Element Type Mappings
To modify the element type mappings, do the following based on your need:

If you want to modify the mapping for the Object ID, see Map Object ID.
Note: If you want to delete the mapping for the Object ID, select the root of the tree Object, right-click and select Remove > This. The mapping for the Object ID along with all its members is deleted. However, remember that an element type without an Object ID is not exported. If you want to delete the mappings only for the members, select the root of the tree Object ID, right-click and select Remove > All members.

If you want to modify the mapping for the Class ID, see Map Class ID .
Note: If you want to delete the mapping for the Class ID, select ClassID in the tree, right-click and select Remove. However, remember that an element type without a Class ID is exported as UNKNOWN.

If you want to modify the attributes for the element type, select the attribute in the tree and modify it according to your need. For more information, see Add Attributes to Element Type.
Note: If you want to delete an attribute, select the attribute in the tree, right-click and select Remove. However, remember that an attribute that is not mapped is not exported.

If you want to modify the conditions for the attributes, select the condition in the tree and modify it according to your need. For more information, see Add Conditions for Attributes.
Note: If you want to delete a condition, select the condition in the tree, right-click and select Remove > This. The condition along with all its members is deleted. If you want to delete only the members of the condition, select the condition in the tree, right-click and select Remove > All members.

Modify Presentation Settings
To modify presentation settings:

On the Presentation Settings page, add, modify or delete settings as needed. For more information, see Tag Element Types in SVG Files.
Modify Export Options
To modify the export options:

On the Export Options page, modify the export options based on your need. For more information, see Setting Export Options.
Modify Common Export Options
To modify the common options:

On the Export Options page, modify the common export options based on your need. For more information, see Setting Common Export Options.
Note: Remember that the common export options that are specified in the Common export configuration settings area at the time of performing the export are used by the gateway for performing the export.
