Install the Gateway

To install the gateway:

1. Close AVEVA™ E3D Design, AVEVA™ Engineering and AVEVA™ Diagrams if they are currently active.

2. From the installation media, run the Setup.msi file for 32-bit or 64-bit installer. The AVEVA Gateway for Unified Engineering Setup wizard is displayed.

   If you have run the 64-bit installer, the AVEVA Gateway for Unified Engineering (x64) Setup wizard is displayed.

3. Follow the steps mentioned in the wizard.

4. On the Custom Setup page, select the required products and the way you want to install the gateway.

   Note: By default, the gateway is installed for all products and modules that are installed on the computer.

   

   If you are using the 64-bit installer, the Custom Setup page displays the 64-bit products available on your computer.

   Note: You can use the Setup wizard to install or upgrade the gateway for all the required modules simultaneously. You can also uninstall the gateway for a product using this wizard. When you uninstall the gateway for a product, the gateway is uninstalled for all the modules within the product. 5. Click Next.

6. On the Ready to install AVEVA Gateway for Unified Engineering page, click Install.

7. After the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the wizard.
