Specify AVEVA AIM Server Details

Before you start working with the gateway, you must specify which AVEVA AIM server you want to connect to. You can do this using the Add Server functionality in the Admin tab.

To specify the AVEVA AIM server details:

1. On the Admin tab, click Add Server. The Dashboard Server Selection dialog box is displayed.

   

2. Do one of the following:

   • If you already have one or more servers configured, select a server that you want to use for the gateway in the Default Server list, and click Apply.

   • If you do not have a server configured, click the plus icon to add new server configuration, specify the server name, its URL, and the portal ID in the Name, URL and PortalID boxes respectively, and click Apply. Then select the server from the Default Server list, and then click Apply again.

     The AVEVA AIM server details are now added.
