Publish to AVEVA Integration Service

The gateway supports publishing to AVEVA Integration Service for both Engineering and Generic data source types.

In the Unified Engineering Browser Access (UE Online), it is currently only possible to create datasources of types other than Engineering. This limitation exists because UE Online does not support On-Demand access from UnifiedEngineering. Unified Engineering – Browser Access only supports Generic data source type.

To resolve this issue, the recommended solution is to update the AIS SDK client to use a different data source type that is supported.

To publish to Aveva Integration service:

1. In the General tab, Select the Integration Service option from the Output area.

   1. Select the Authentication Type from the dropdown list, it has NTLM and CONNECT options.

      

   2. Enter the Data API URL in the specified box.

   3. Select the Data Source Name from the dropdown list after clicking on the refresh button.

2. In the Classes tab, select the DB Type from the drop-down list.

   6. Selected Classes are added automatically.

      

3. In the Grids tab, select the required option from Append units of measurement area.

   

   7. The following options are available:

      1. None: Select this option if you want to use the default value from the grid.

      2. Column Headers: Select this option if you want to include Column Headers with unit of measurement.

      3. Cell Values: Select this option if you want to include unit of measurement inside the cell value.

4. In the DB Views tab, select the required option from Append units of measurement area.

   

5. Click Save in the gateway setup form.

   8. From the Gateway area, add the required grid items.

   9. From the Configuration Selection area, choose the required configuration.

   10. Click Publish.

   

6. Use postman tool to view the published data.
