Mapping Element Types

On the Element Type Mappings page, you can define the mappings for various attributes of the element types such as Object ID, Class ID and Name. The mappings specify how the attributes of an element type must map to the attributes of AVEVA™ Asset Information Management after they are imported into AVEVA™ Asset Information Management. All element types come with certain default mappings as mentioned in the Default Mappings section. You can add to, remove or modify the mappings based on your need.

  Note: The mappings defined for the Document Page element type cannot be modified. Also you cannot add, modify or delete the attributes for this element type.
