AVEVA Integration Service REST API is not receiving notifications for subscribed data sources - When Multi-Computer Deployment is used.

Description: AVEVA Integration Service REST API SignalR component is not working when AVEVA Integration Service Data API is installed in different machine.

Resolution: If the Config API and Data API are installed in a different machine, the REST API APP Pool user must be added to mmc > Local User & Groups > Groups > Administrator of AVEVA Integration Service Data API installed Server.

Notifications takes a lot of time to load in Notification Client or Application

Description: Sometimes, when you try to send or receive notifications, you may experience slow performance of the Notification Service.

Resolution: This issue occurs because of an increase in the number of notifications held by the Notification Service. For optimal performance, the number of notifications must be less than 150.

To reduce the number of notifications:

  • Start the Notification Client.

  • Delete the notifications that are no longer needed.
