AVEVA™ Integration Service

AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management

To configure AVEVA™ Integration Service (Service) for AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management:

  1. Start Integration Settings Editor.

  2. From the Select Product list, select AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management. The Module Name list displays AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management.

  3. Click Add Configuration.

    Note: If you have logged on using a Local System account, you will be prompted to log on to the Service using a Service account. For information on how to log on using a Service account, see Changing to a Service Account.

  4. On the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management dialog box, in the DataSource Name box, type a name for the data source.

    Note: Starting version 2.3.2 of the Service, the data source names must be unique and must not contain special characters other than _ (underscore), -(hyphen) and space.

  5. In the Service URL box, type the URL of the AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management service you want to configure:

  6. In the Choose how you want to connect to this Enterprise Resource Management Service area, do one of the following:

    • If you want to connect to the AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management service as a Windows user using the Windows authentication, select the Use Windows Integrated Security (Windows Authentication) option.

    • If you want to connect to the AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management service as a specific AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management user, select the Connect to AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management as option, and type the username and password in the respective boxes.

    • If you want to connect to AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management using CONNECT user credentials, select the Connect to Enterprise Resource Management using AVEVA Connect option and provide the environment ID of AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management in the Environment ID box. You must also make sure that the Service URL you have provided supports the CONNECT authentication.

      Note: For information on the environment ID, contact your CONNECT administrator.

  7. Click Test Service.

    Note: If you are using the Connect to Enterprise Resource Management using AVEVA Connect option, you are prompted to provide the credentials of the CONNECT user. The CONNECT credentials are used while sending and requesting data.

  8. After the message Enterprise Resource Management service connected successfully is displayed, click Add Service. The AVEVA™ Enterprise Resource Management service is added to the Integration Settings Editor.

  9. Click Save.
