AVEVA P&ID

To configure AVEVA™ Integration Service (Service) for AVEVA™ P&ID:

1. Start Integration Settings Editor.

2. For the Select Product list, select AVEVA P&ID.

3. Click Add Configuration.

4. In the AVEVA P&ID Data-Source Details dialog box, for the Data-Source URL box, provide the URL of P&ID Data Service Editor.

   Note: After installation of AVEVA™ P&ID, P&ID Data Service Editor is available on the Start menu under AVEVA > Engineer > Manage > P&ID Data Service Editor. You can install this service locally on the Server computer or on any network computer.

5. Click Test Service to verify the connection.

   

6. After you receive a Data Source connected successfully message, click Get Projects to load all projects from AVEVA™ P&ID.

7. Select the required projects, and then click Add Projects to add the projects to the Integration Settings Editor window.

8. Click Save.

   Important: To work with Microsoft Excel, AVEVA™ P&ID 12.1 SP3.3 requires Microsoft Access 2013 Runtime whereas the Service requires Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable. On account of these conflicting requirements, AVEVA™ P&ID 12.1 SP3.3 and the Service cannot be installed on the same computer if the computer has Microsoft Excel 2013 or 2016 installed.
