You can filter the data before loading it into the Service by specifying a filter condition.

Note: For information on how to filter simulation data, see View Simulation Data.

To filter data:

  1. Start Integration Client.

  2. Test the connectivity. For information on how to test the connectivity, see Test Connectivity.

Note: If you want to change the location of the Service, see Set the Location of Service.

  3. After the connection has been made successfully, click Get Available Products, and select the required module for the Select Module list.

  4. Select the required project from the list of projects.

Note: For Dabacon products, if you have set the Authentication as User for the data source, you must provide the credentials of a General user account. Enter the username and password and click Validate User. If the Authentication has been set as Connect, you must provide the CONNECT credentials. You can proceed to the next step only after the validation is successful and data is retrieved based on the Project user you are mapped to. For more information about authentication, see Authentication in Integration Settings Editor, and for more information about General, Project and CONNECT user accounts, see User Account Types in AVEVA Integration Service.

  5. Select the required table from the list and provide the filter expression in the Filter Expression/Attributes box.

  6. Note: The operands >, >=, <, <= and = are supported. You can use columns of type date and time in the filter expression. The filter expression must be provided in the following format: [Column name]<operand>'column value'. For example, [EquipID]='ASC1034' or [modified date]>='24/01/2020'. Column names that contain square brackets ([..]) are currently not supported.

  7. Click Get Data. The data that is displayed on the Data Viewer window is filtered according to your filter condition.
