Unable to browse AVEVA Integration Service Web Admin - Error “unauthorized client displayed”.

Description: When browsing AVEVA Integration Service Web UI from a browser, if any exception occurs then the browser is redirected to a default sign-in web page with below error message.

Resolution:

  • AVEVA Integration Service web admin is angular application running in IIS, required URL Rewrite 2.0, for route the request.

  • After AVEVA Integration Service is Installed, make sure that binding are configured properly for HTTPS.

  • You have configured AVEVA Integration Settings Editor & Service is Started.Note, for Web admin URL should not specify 443 port number.

  • In your browser, delete the cookies. Close All browser instance.

  • Now, you can browse the AVEVA Integration Service Web UI.

Unable to view projects via AVEVA Integration Service Web Admin - When trying to add data source - For Dabacon Products with LaaS

Description: Projects are not displayed when trying to add data source via AVEVA Integration Service Web Admin and below error pops up in the AVEVA Integration Service server. AVEVA Dabacon Products such as E3D 4.1 configured to use Licensee type as LaaS (License as a Software), with connect authority URL configured and user has not launched the product in AVEVA Integration Service Server, this means product don't have connect token. When invoking this start method of DabaconAgent still E3D is prompting the user to for connect credentials even though when we provided connect authentication token in arguments of start method.

Resolution:

User can Open E3D product one time in AVEVA Integration Server. This will resolve the issue.

Unable to view Data sources in AVEVA Integration Service Web Admin - REST API Url Disconnected

Description: AVEVA Integration Service Web UI integrated with AVEVA Integration Service REST API. If AVEVA Integration Service REST API is not working or configured correctly, you cannot view or add the data source.

Resolution:

  • Make Sure REST API is installed & working. To check this, go to AVEVA Integration Server Internet Information Manager and browse to the REST API. You should be able to do it successfully.

  • Verify that you are able to get data sources using the browser. To do this type https://<yourAisServerName>:8080/ais/odata/v3/Datasources in your browser.

  • Make sure the REST API URL and Webadmin URL in AVEVA Integration Setting Editor are configured. Please note that the Webadmin default port is 443. If you are using this port number then you only need to configure the server name as shown.

  • Verify that “AIS_Cors_AllowedOrigins” value is configured properly in “Web.config“ file of “IntegrationServiceRESTAPI”
