To configure AVEVA™ Integration Service (Service) for Microsoft SQL Server:

Start Integration Settings Editor.

For the Select Product list, select SQL Server.

Click Add Configuration.
Note: If you have logged on using a Local System account, you will be prompted to log on using a Service account. For information on how to log on using a Service account, see Changing to a Service Account.

On the Select SQL Server dialog box, provide the location or the name of database in the SQL Server box..

Provide the login credentials to log on to the database. If you want to use the Windows authentication, select the Use Windows Integrated Security (Windows Authentication) option. Else, select the Log in as Administrator with password (SQL Server Security) option and provide the username and password of the Administrator.

Click Connect to Server.

After the connection to the Server is successful, select the required SQL sever database from the Select Database list, and then click OK.

After the message that the connection is successful is displayed, click OK.

After the database is added to the Integration Settings Editor window, click Save.
