Keep Connection Alive
For AVEVA™ E3D Design 2.1, 3.1, and 4.0, you have an option to improve the performance of the Service by keeping the connection alive. For information about this feature, see Keep Connection Alive for Dabacon Data Sources.
Upgrade Notes
After upgrading the Service to version 2.1.0.2 or later, data cannot be retrieved from data sources created using 2.1.0.1 or earlier versions of the Service whose Authentication is set to User and that have been created using a General user account. Such data sources must be recreated using a Free user account so that User authentication can be applied. However, you can continue to use the data source if the Authentication is set to No. For more information about the Authentication column, see Authentication in Integration Settings Editor.
