The Data Sources section allows you to view, create, modify, and delete Data Sources configured for your environment.
Viewing the Data Sources List
Select Data Sources from the navigation panel to open the Data Sources List. This page displays all data sources created by users in your environment.
Add a data source
To create a new Data Source, select the Add Data Source button.
The Create Data Source pane appears, where you can specify or select the following details:

Mandatory. Must be unique. Spaces and special characters are not permitted. |

Product |
Select a product from the dropdown list. |

Project |
Optional. Enter your project code. |

Description |
Optional. Provide a brief description of the Data Source. |
Data Source Naming Convention
AVEVA recommends to follow a consistent naming standard when creating Data Sources.
For example: PRODUCT_PROJECT_DISCIPLINE → e.g., UE_DESIGN_APS_ALL
Note:

Data Sources for products such as AVEVA Unified Engineering and ERM that require live data pull must be created from the AIS Local Server Installation Web UI.

Data Sources created via the CONNECT portal for these products support PubSub only and do not support live data pull.
Delete a data source

To remove a Data Source, click the Delete icon on the respective Data Source entry.

Confirm the action when prompted.
Filtering a data source
Use the filter options at the top of the Data Sources List to narrow down the displayed results.

Note: Text box filters do not support auto complete. Enter the value manually to apply the filter.
