A system lock or personal lock indicates that the physical point is locked.
You can add one system lock to an isolation point. This is the primary lock. There might be a system lock in place for the duration of a job, and during that time some individual workers might apply personal locks, in addition to the system lock. A personal lock tends to be more temporary and applied for smaller, individual reasons.
Guidelines
-
Only one system lock can be added to an isolation point.
-
Any number of additional personal locks can be added an isolation point.
-
Each lock number on an isolation point must be unique. A personal lock cannot have the same number as the system lock.
-
If a system or personal lock has been deleted, then the same lock number can be used again.
