Fields on work permit information header

These fields are editable in the create or edit view. They appear in read-only state across the top of the details page as the information header.

Fields with an asterisk are required.

Field

Description

  • Title*

A short title for the work permit.

  • Number

The number will be auto-generated.

  • Description

The Description field is always read-only. You can change what appears in the Description field only in the form itself.

  • Site*

The site for the work permit. This value is populated by your preferred site, but can be edited when creating work permit.

  • Area*

The area where the work permit is valid.

  • Zone

The zone where the work permit is valid.

  • System

The type of system that applies to the work permit.

  • Discipline

The type of discipline that applies to the work permit.

  • Work order

The work order number that applies to the work permit.

  • Type*

The type of work permit from available types.

  • Subtype

The work permit subtype. If the type has subtypes, this field is required.

  • Ongoing work

Used to flag when work is ongoing work. This value is searchable.

  • Requires electro involvement

Used to flag a work permit as needing involvement of the electro discipline. This value is searchable.

  • Valid from date

The first day that the work permit is valid.

  • Number of periods

How many periods the work permit will be valid for. This field is prefilled with the default value. However, it can also have a maximum value that is larger than the default value.

  • Each period, valid between

The times that the period is valid between.

  • Created

Date and time the work permit was created.

  • Updated

Date and time the work permit was last updated. If you update details, form values, or attach a reference to work permit, this value will be updated.

  • Applicant*

The applicant for the work permit. By default, this value is populated with your name, but you can change to another person. Select from the drop-down list, or click Switch to enter a name in free text.
