Working with Attributes

All Application Server objects consist of a set of attributes that together produce unique functionality. As originally developed, the functionality of each object is finite and usable in that state. To increase the functionality of an object, use the Object Editor to add and/or modify attributes.
For more detailed information about extending the functionality of an object, see the Application Server User’s Guide. To access this documentation within the IDE, press F1 or click Help Topics on the Help menu.
Note: An Attribute name that starts with an underscore is defined as a hidden attribute. By default, hidden attributes do not appear in the Attribute Editor, the Object Viewer, or the Attributes tab of the Properties box. All of these features provide options to display hidden attributes.
