Redeploy WinPlatform objects

You can redeploy a WinPlatform object without redeploying other objects hosted on WinPlatform in the ArchestrA IDE. When you make changes in an application while testing, you can check the changes by redeploying WinPlatform. Earlier, the redeploying process would undeploy and then redeploy all objects hosted on WinPlatform. Now, you can redeploy only the configured or modified platform object and not the other objects hosted on WinPlatform.

To redeploy the WinPlatform objects only, you must clear the Cascade Deploy check box in the Deploy dialog box. However, to redeploy all the objects (hosted objects and configured or modified platform objects) on WinPlatform, you need to select to the Cascade Deploy check box during deployment.

You will not be able to redeploy a configured or modified platform object if an object hosted on WinPlatform is in the pending state.

For more information on redeploying WinPlatform without redeploying all other hosted objects, see the topic "Redeploying WinPlatform Objects" in the Application Server User Guide.
