About the Object Information tab

Use the Object Information tab to:

• View basic data about the object you are configuring.

• Configure execution order of the object, relative to other objects.

• Provide help for the object you are configuring.

  Editor Option	Associated Attribute	Description	Runtime Access (Supervisory, User, Read-Only, None)
  Description	ShortDesc	A short text description of object. The maximum length is 256 characters.	Read-Only
  Hierarchical name	HierarchicalName	The fully qualified hierarchical name of the object. For example, "Reactor1.Level."	Read-Only
  Container	Container	The name of the container that object is contained in.	Read-Only
  Codebase	CodeBase	The identity of the object's codebase, in the format Vendor.TemplateName.MajorVersionNumber.	None
  Derived from	(not applicable)	Name of the template from which the object (derived template or instance) is derived.	None
  Host	Host	The name of the host to which the object is assigned in the Deployment View. For example: for a WinPlatform, it is the Galaxy name; for an AppEngine, it is a WinPlatform name; for an Area, it is an AppEngine name; and for an ApplicationObject, it is an Area name.	Read-Only
  Area	Area	The name of the area to which the object belongs. For top level areas and objects in the "Unassigned" Area, this is not applicable.	Read-Only
  Security group	SecurityGroup	The name of the object's security group.	Read-Only
  Process order	ExecutionRelativeOrder	Indicates whether the object should run before or after another object, or not specified (None). This option may not be shown for some objects for which configuration of the execution order is not allowed.	Read-Only
  Relative object	ExecutionRelatedObject	Indicates another object that the object runs before or after. Unavailable if Process Order is set to None. Click the browse button to select an object from the Attribute Browser.	Read-Only
