About quality handling

Attributes that have extra quality values (other than GOOD) are listed in the following table.

PV |
When PVMode is set to Simulate or Manual, the quality is UNCERTAIN. When PVMode is Auto, the quality value is the same for the PVAuto quality value. |

PVAuto |
Set to BAD if the object is offscan or if any input value has BAD quality. If any input quality is INITIALIZING, set to INITIALIZING. If any input quality is UNCERTAIN, set to UNCERTAIN. Otherwise, quality is set to GOOD. |

PV.IsActive1 PV.IsActive2 |
Each of these attributes has a calculated quality value, which will always be the same as the quality of PV. |
