Work with legacy field attributes

As of Application Server 2014 R2, Field Attributes have been deprecated and their functionality has been combined into a single, unified attribute which you can create and configure using the Attributes tab, available for all objects.

By default, the Field Attributes tab will be displayed for an object only if the object has existing Field Attributes. You can force the display of the Field Attribute tab by enabling the Show Field Attributes tab option, as follows:

1. Select the Galaxy menu, then select User.

2. Select Preferences from the User options.

3. Select the Scan tab.

4. Enable the Show field attributes tab to display Field Attributes in the User Defined Object editor.
