State alarm attributes

If Enable state alarm is enabled, then the following additional discrete alarm-related attributes become available.

If enabled, the alarm will be triggered based on the Discrete Field Attribute state.

The state of the Discrete Field Attribute when the state alarm is triggered.

Alarm source

AlarmSourceAttr

A Boolean attribute that reads the source tag in the PLC to determine if the tag is in alarm. Click the ellipse button to access the Attribute Browser.

This attribute can be used when the PLC has already been programmed to send limit alarms, instead of having to separately configure the limit alarm feature and its attributes.
