View Data in AVEVA™ Asset Information Management

After an element is exported, the following files are generated at the staging area:

• An XML file (also known as the EIWM file) that contains the data that has been exported

• An SVG file that contains the graphical data

If you have added the staging area as a watch folder in the Import Controller of AVEVA™ Asset Information Management, the data is automatically imported in AVEVA™ Asset Information Management. Else, you have to manually import the data using the Import Controller. For more information about the Import Controller, refer to the AVEVA™ Asset Information Management Workhub and Dashboard Installation Guide.

After the files have been imported, AVEVA™ Asset Information Management displays the AVEVA™ E3D Design data when queried.

Note: Contact your AVEVA™ Asset Information Management administrator if you are unable to view some of the data in the AVEVA™ Asset Information Management.
