Using the Tableau Data Source Files

You open Tableau Data Source files using the BI Gateway Analytics client.

To open a Tableau data source file

1. On the Windows Start menu, click AVEVA BI Gateway > BI Gateway Analytics Client.

   Or

   Double-click the BI Gateway Analytics Client shortcut icon on the desktop.

   Or

   Search for BI Gateway Analytics Client in the Search box. Click BI Gateway Analytics Client when displayed in search results.

   Note: If you are using Windows Server 2012 R2, click Start and then on the Start menu, type Analytics Client in the Search box. Click Analytics Client when displayed in search results.

   The BI Gateway Analytics Client dialog box appears.

2. On the File menu, click Open. The Open dialog box appears.

3. Select the .tds file you want to open.

4. Click OK.
