Starting the Analytics Client Data Source Generator

When you install the BI Gateway Analytics Client on your system, the Analytics Client Data Source Generator is also automatically installed. Only one instance of Analytics Client Data Source Generator can run on the system. When you start the generator, no window appears. The program starts directly in the system tray.

To start the Analytics Client Data Source Generator

• On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, AVEVA BI Gateway and then click Analytics Client Data Source Generator.

NOTE:
- If you are using Windows Server 2012 R2, click Start and then on the Start menu, type Analytics Client Data Source Generator in the Search box. Click Analytics Client Data Source Generator when displayed in search results.

- After the system restarts after this feature is installed, the Analytics Client Data Source Generator starts automatically and is visible in the system tray.
