Add users

You can create users who have access to AVEVA Connect.

You can create the following types of users:

• A user with the BI Gateway "Administrator" role has access to the BI Gateway Model Builder and the Azure SQL Database with Read-Only access to all Database objects.

• A user with the BI Gateway "Analytics User" role has Read-Only access to the BI Gateway datastore (dbo schema). This user does not have access to the BI Gateway Model Builder.

  Note: You must have "Administrator" privileges for the AVEVA Connect account to add users.

After you create a new user, an email is sent to the new user, indicating that the user can now connect to the newly created account. When the user clicks the link, the user is navigated to the AVEVA Connect Account page.
