About Event API

The BI Gateway Event API is used to programmatically inject requests to reprocess dimensions and measures.

For dimensions and measures, you can request to reprocess a specific time-range or a simple refresh.

Note: When you deploy a Measure without a schedule and driving its execution based on Time-Defining Dimension changes, it is recommended that the Measure is refreshed periodically using Events API.
