AVEVA™ BI Gateway

Import a BI Gateway model

  • Last UpdatedFeb 12, 2024

You can import an existing AVEVA BI Gateway Model of the same version using the exported Data.json file.

The following import rules are followed while performing the import of AVEVA BI Gateway Model:

  • All the objects are imported from Export File.

  • If any objects are existing, you can choose to either 'Overwrite' or 'Create New' objects.

  • After import, all newly created objects are in undeployed state, irrelevant of the state they were in at export time.

  • If any objects are existing and are in deployed state, they are in 'Deployed with pending changes' state (a new version is created).

  • If any objects are existing and are in undeployed state, they are overwritten.

  • If any objects are existing, and are in 'Deployed with pending changes' state, this version is overwritten.

  • All relationships between objects are preserved.

Note: In case of migration from Intelligence 2017 U1 on-premises, you must get the JSON file, and then import the JSON file to Cloud. It is applicable only for the AVEVA Insight data source.
