Rename a dimension alias

You can rename a dimension alias. The alias name:

• Must be unique within the measure.

• Can contain a maximum of 100 characters and cannot start with the "aa" character.

Rename a dimension alias

1. Under the Measures column, click the measure for which you want to rename the dimension alias. The measure editor appears.

2. Click the Context tab.

3. In the Changing dimensions area, under the Alias column, double-click an alias, and type a new alias name.

4. Click Add Dimensions.
