After a BI Gateway role is assigned, you will receive an invitation email from the BI Gateway Azure AD. After you accept the invitation email, you must complete the Multifactor Authentication (MFA) enrollment.

Multifactor Authentication is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to access a resource. Multifactor Authentication improves the overall security of your data.

For more information about Multifactor Authentication, see the Microsoft Azure documentation.

Set up the multifactor authentication

  1. As a BI Gateway user, you will receive an invitation mail from AVEVA Connect regarding the setup of MFA. Accept the invitation mail to begin the setup.
