Deploy and undeploy a dimension

You deploy the dimension to the AVEVA BI Gateway.

Deploy a dimension

1. Open the AVEVA BI Gateway Model Builder.

2. Under the Dimension column, click the dimension that you want to deploy. The Dimension editor appears in the right pane with the selected dimension details.

3. On the Action menu, click the Deploy icon. A confirmation message appears.

4. Click Yes. After the successful deployment, the deploy status next to the dimension name changes from Yellow to Blue.

   NOTE: By default, when you deploy a dimension, it deploys the parent objects too if the objects are undeployed.

Undeploy a dimension

5. Open the AVEVA BI Gateway Model Builder.

6. Under the Dimension column, click the dimension that you want to undeploy. The Dimension editor appears in the right pane with the selected dimension details.

7. On the Action menu, click the Undeploy icon. A confirmation message appears.

8. Click Yes. After the successful undeployment, the deploy status next to the dimension name changes from Blue to Yellow.
