New features

These are new features in the AVEVA™ XR Engage 5.0.0 release.

3D model sectioning

The Section functionality provides ability to section the 3D model to take a better look at the model and its sub-equipment in detail.

Ability to view AIM Documents

We have added the ability to view AIM documents inside the XR Engage template. See View PDFs.

Integration with AVEVA Application Service

New integration with AVEVA™ Application Service (AAS) provides the ability to show AVEVA™ E3D design properties for a selected element. See Integrate with AVEVA Net or AIM.

Tag tile hierarchies

Element hierarchies provides the ability to show alternative hierarchy structures for a selected element.

Search

We have added a Search feature to search for elements within the model.

Collections

The Collections Toolbar enables you to manage collections of snapshots. You can do markup of 2D and 3D snaps and save snapshot collections for downstream communication and distribution of decisions.

Engage Extensions

The AVEVA XR Engage Extensions feature provides the ability to link to and display external operations data within the XR Engage template.
