In this approach, users create a project in XR Studio, import model files through the graphic_context.xml, and configure settings in cfg_cadviewer.xml.
XR Studio supports camera views for initial model perspectives, but does not support some new formats. Models loaded this way use specified camera nodes for views.
Note: New importer formats such as popmesh are not yet supported in XR Engage Template.
Use XR Studio to load the model
-
Create an XR Engage Template project using XR Studio.
-
In the XR Studio Project Explorer, click on graphic_context.xml file to import a model file.
-

Configure initial view for XR Studio imported model
-
Use the Camera node in XR Studio to add initial camera views.

-

Note: Models loaded with other workflows use full model bounding box calculated view to fit the model in the screen.
