Using CAD Viewer in VR
This section describes the available functions while using VR mode.
Usability in VR
The usability in VR differs from the screen view in several ways; however, the set of available functionalities are mostly the same. The main difference is that when in VR, the user has to switch between different modes by selecting a mode on the VR in-game menu.

VR feature modes
The available feature modes on the VR menu.

Description |

|
Activates Fly mode. Fly mode enables the user to move around the 3D world without teleporting. It gives the user the ability to move their view above the ground and fly around the environment. |
|

Activates Teleport mode. In Teleport mode, user can select a landing point and be moved directly there. |
|
|
Activates Advanced mode. In the Advanced mode, the Grip button on the controller is enabled to use for Zoom and Rotation. |
|
|
Opens Measure submenu. In Measure mode, user can annotate different type of measurements over the scene. |
|
|
Activates Snapshot mode. Enables user to save snapshots of the 3D scene. |
|
|
Activates Jump mode. Enables user to jump directly to specific point of interest. |
|
|
Activates the Properties panel. Enables the user to view data about the selected object that is imported from AVEVA Asset Information Management (AIM). |
