Multi-point Measurement (Path) mode

Path mode allows you to draw multiple line measurement. You are able to draw multiple line segments sequentially until the path measure is confirmed.

  • Individual line measurement will be shown on center of respective line.

  • Total length will be shown on center of path measurement along with measurement name.

Note: Measurement labels are hidden when the camera is moved away from measurement line and appears again when the camera moves close to the measurement line.

Perform a multi-point measure

  1. Click Measure on the toolbar.

  2. On the pop-up menu, select Linear.

  3. On the Linear context menu, click Path. Alternatively, you can press shortcut key E.

In the Path mode, you can draw line segments sequentially until the path measure is confirmed.

  4. Identify and click the starting point with the mouse. The distance to camera indication disappears and the distance from starting point appears. When you click the first point, a sphere appears at the start of the measure line and the measure line appears in red color while drawing.

  5. Move the mouse to identify the next point. The distance indicator follows the mouse. This helps to correctly identify the next point. A line is shown connecting the start point and the mouse position. A sphere is placed at all confirmed points.

  6. Confirm the end point of the line segment. The measurement for confirmed line segment will be shown at the center of the line segment. When the measure is complete, the last sphere is placed at the end point of measure line.

  7. When the measure line is confirmed, spheres will be hidden and the lines will turn to blue color.
