View tag data from AVEVA Net or AIM

Query data from AVEVA Net or AIM in Screen mode

1. Double-click on any tag present in the Design Review model.

2. When you double click, the hotspot will display at the picked position with the tag name and tag results. You can close the hotspot by clicking the X icon.

   Note: If the tag information is not present then no result will display in hotspot.

   

3. If the information for the tag is available in AVEVA Net or AIM, you can click the hotspot to open a detailed view of the tag.

   In the Detailed view, the Attributes list displays on the left side of the tile, and the Documents list displays on the right side of the tile. Both lists are scrollable using the left mouse button drag or the mouse scroll wheel. You can close the tile by clicking the X icon or pressing the Esc key.

   

4. Click the Dock button to shift the data to the properties panel.

   

   The Properties panel displays.

   

View meta data

• Select User meta data from the drop-down list in the properties panel meta data.

  Note: If you select a tag that has only user meta data, then clicking on hotspot will show the tag information from the metadata file in the properties panel.

Open 2D document

5. Click any document in the document list to open the 2D document. The attribute list and document list both shift to right side of the screen.

   

6. Close the Document view by clicking the X icon or pressing the Esc key.

Related documents

If the selected document contains any related files for that particular document, these will show in a drop-down menu at the top of the document page.

Version number

If the selected document has any version documents, a version number displays in the top bar of the document page inside white circle.
