AVEVA™ Pipeline Operations for Gas

Gas quality Row Edit: Virtual Chromatograph tab

  • Last UpdatedApr 24, 2025

If a gas chromatograph malfunctions, you can use a virtual chromatograph in its place as a source for volumetric corrections.

The virtual chromatograph allows the system administrator to configure a virtual gasquality record, where the gas quality composition is defined by upstream gas qualities that share similar properties. The virtual chromatograph record can handle up to 20 different sources. The values for these points are calculated using the flow-weighted average of the chosen upstream gas quality information.
