Gascontract Row Edit: Main tab

Name

Enter the name of the new record.

Note: If you want to edit an existing record, select (...) and select the name of the gascontract record from the gascontract Select dialog box.

Description

Enter a description of the record. The Description can be up to 47 characters in length. This field is for information purposes only and can be used to describe the record, its association with other points, or any other textual information. The Name and Description configured for a record appear in the summary tables in the easy eXtended Operator Station (ezXOS).

Created In Realtime

If yes, the gascontract record was created in the RealTime database (RTDB).

If no, the gascontract record was created in Gas Day Operations (GDO), and replicated to RTDB.

Contract ID in GDO

The contract ID associated with any gascontract records created in GDO.

Group

Select (...) and select the name of the group this record belongs to from the group Select dialog box. Groups are assigned to closely related records.

Dataset

Select (...) and select the name of the dataset you want to associate with this record from the dataset Select dialog box.

A dataset contains privileges assigned for each system and mode. Once a record is assigned to a data set value, the dataset can only be changed to a value for which the system has a privilege record. A record’s dataset can not be changed in such a way that the system can no longer access the record.

Station

Select (...) and select the name of the station you want to associate with this record from the station Select dialog box.

Point Class

These fields are used by Display Framework, a separately acquired product. Select (...) to select the desired option. There are two options that affect how the contracts are monitored:

• nonRTU —This option indicates that there are no telemetry inputs to the contract. The processing will bypass reading an input value for the current flow rate (Volume), current accumulation (Volume Accum) Gas Quality, in addition to Downstream and Upstream Pressure. This will affect the calculation of the projected volume (Est-Will Be) and the flow difference (Flow Diff).

• Check Measurement — This option indicates that the calculations for the contract will only be performed after five minutes have passed since the last calculation.

Point SubClass

This field is used by Display Framework, a separately acquired product. It is not used by the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA application.

Display Order

This field is used for display purposes. It would only be used if the nomination information were being represented on a station template object. It is only relevant to systems that have this optional software component. Unless you specifically use the Display Framework, the value is not used.

The default value is 0.

SCADA meter number

Enter the number of the meter to which this gascontract point is connecting. The default value is 0.

Summary meter number

Enter or select the name of the flowTotalConfig point related to this gascontract point.

Flow Dir (R/D)

The flow direction under the current nomination cycle. This is a read-only field. Possible values are:

• Delivery

• Receipt

Base Message

Select (...) and select the message associated with the record from the Message Select dialog box.

Company

Enter the name of the company associated with this gascontract point.

State

Enter the name of the state where the company associated with this gascontract point is located.

County

Enter the name of the county where the company associated with this gascontract point is located.
