The Phase Envelope Graph is only available if you have the Hydrocarbon Dewpoint (HCDP) module installed. The graph displays the hydrocarbon gas pressure versus its temperature. The envelope is the black curved line on the graph which divides the single-phase region from the two-phase gas-liquid region.
The legend displays the following information:
-
Dew Point - The Hydrocarbon Dewpoint is the temperature on the phase envelope that corresponds to the operating pressure.
-
Operating Point - The Operating Point is the current pressure and temperature of the gas.
-
Phase Envelope - A phase envelope graph is designed to document the transition between states.
-
Cricodenbar - The cricondenbar is the maximum pressure at which the hydrocarbon gas will start to condense out of the gaseous phase.
-
Cricodentherm - The cricondentherm is the maximum temperature (in temperature units), at which the hydrocarbon gas, will start to condense out of the gaseous phase.
-
Critical Point - For a multicomponent gas is the pressure and temperature at which all the properties of the gas and liquids are equal.
On the side panel, the gas composition is listed.
