The following table describes fields on the gasmeter Row Details Alarming tab. The system monitors the volume of host-calculated meters for alarm conditions.

Group |
Item |
Description |
|---|---|---|
Level Alarming |
Will allow you to set the alarm limits associated with this gas meter. |
Alarm Deadband |
This value controls the sensitivity of the high and low alarms. |
HiHi/LoLo Alarm Check |
Select the checkbox to indicate that a HiHi (HighHigh) / LoLo (LowLow) Alarm Check should be performed. |
Hi/Lo Alarm Check |
Select the checkbox to indicate that a Hi (High) / Lo (Low) Alarm Check should be performed. |
HiHi Alarm Limit |
Define the HighHigh Alarm Limit threshold. A HighHigh alarm is generated if the volume is greater than this limit. |
Hi Alarm Limit |
Define the High Alarm Limit threshold. A High alarm is generated if the volume is greater than this limit but less than the HighHigh limit. |
Lo Alarm Limit |
Define the Lo (Low) Alarm Limit threshold. A Low alarm is generated if the volume is less than this limit but greater than the LowLow limit. |
LoLo Alarm Limit |
Define the LowLow Alarm Limit threshold. A LowLow alarm is generated if the volume is less than this limit. |
Rate of Change Alarming |
Rate of Change (ROC) alarming provides non-persistent alarm information. Such an alarm serves to notify the operator of a condition that has occurred, even though the record may still be well within its normal operational range. |
Enable ROC Alarm |
Select the checkbox to enable the ROC alarm. If the ROC exceeds the ROC limit, an alarm is generated. |
Rate of Change Limit |
An alarm is generated if the calculated ROC is greater than this amount. |
Creep Alarming |
Allows you to set an alarm to detect when the gas meter creeps out of the normal calibrated state over time. |
Creep Detection |
An alarm is declared when a gas meter value becomes greater than the initial setpoint value plus the creep value, or less than the initial setpoint value minus the creep value. |
Deviation Alarm Limit |
The maximum deviation value (engineering units) that is acceptable before calibration deteriorates. |
