Gas Contract Monitor

The Gas Contract Monitor, which is an application run by the server to process gas contract information, uses the Volume Path and Volume Accum Path fields, or the Energy Path and Energy Accum Path fields, to gather rate and accumulator values from the supplied RealTime pathway. The Volume Path, Volume Accum Path, Energy Path, and Energy Accum Path fields can gather information from one of the following records: analog, rate, or flowtotalConfig, although it is possible for the field information be supplied by any table that stores information as a double precision floating point type.

In the instance where the Volume Path and Volume Accum Path, or Energy Path and Energy Accum Path are not specified, the Gas Contract Nominations (GCN) application checks to see if the Flow Total fields have been set. If they are set, the GCN application gathers information from the Flow Total (Flow Rate) for the volume or energy, and the accumulator information. In the case that the Flow Total (Acc) is set, the accumulated volume or energy information will be supplied by the Flow Total (Acc).
