Understand your host-calculated gas quality

Host-calculated gas qualities can be configured to locally calculate the heating value for the gas quality on the RealTime server from the input read from other RealTime data points. The calculated heating value and the input components are sent to AVEVA Measurement Advisor hourly, daily, or on a sample interval.

For hourly or daily data, the values sent to AVEVA Measurement Advisor are the average values as calculated over the previous hour or day. For sampled data, the values sent to AVEVA Measurement Advisor are the current values at the time the data is sent.
